Train Travel

On Tuesday through Friday at 4pm Desmond and Nathan are waiting for me across the street from the UN at 1st Avenue and 42nd Street. We walk across town together, get on the train for the rest of the way and then transfer, Desi and I going uptown for home and Nathan going downtown to school. For now, it's one the few fleeting moments the three of us get to spend together. On the ride back home, when I get settled in a seat (if I'm lucky!), Desi and I get get out the snacks! He munches on either (or all) cheerios, cheese, crackers, carrots, veggiepuffs and milk.
