A lot of the animals seemed to be in winter hibernation but Desi was still able to growl at the monkeys and giraffs and the snakes. His first experience at a zoo! We were so excited for him to see the lions and bears so they could growl at each other -- he loves growling. He also loves the perhaps human equivalent, "hi!" which he used interchangably as he met the animals. Nathan, and Grandma&Grandpa Simkins were with us too. Fun times!
