The Gates

New Yorkers have been in high expectation about the unveiling of these "gates" by artists Christo and Jeanne-Claude (his wife) throughout Central Park. They specialize in large public art works and, I have to say, I'm wild about it!! The unveiling was on Saturday and Desi and I headed downtown to stroll through them. It was forecasted to be a sunny day but it was grey and overcast. Nevertheless there were thousands of people filling the paths and lifting their children up to reach the cloth. Desi really had no reaction but he was agreeable to pose for the photos. :) He's such a good baby!
